Automated External Defibrillation (AED) equipment is now available to the general public, it is no longer the preserve of the emergency services.  All organisations with an AED must ensure that adequate numbers of staff are trained in its use.

AED machines will greatly improve the chances of survival for casualties who have suffered a cardiac arrest, if they are used quickly and effectively and in conjunction with good CPR technique.  Therefore, the ability to use these machines really is a life-saving skill.

BlueSkies CPR & AED training can take place as a stand-alone course or it can be included as part of our other training courses.

Delegates receive training which covers the following topics:

  • Responsibilities & roles of the first aider
