BLUESKIES SPORT & EXERCISE FIRST AID COURSES
Would you know what to do in an emergency?
Providing prompt, effective First Aid treatment can mean the difference between life and death to a child. BlueSkies First Aid Training for Child Carers gives you the skills you need to cope with emergency situations prior to the arrival of a paramedic.
Who is this training for?
Anyone can attend BlueSkies Paediatric First Aid Training but it is specifically aimed towards those people working with children such as child minders or nursery workers.
Who is it recognised by?
This course complies with Ofsted requirements for first aid provision in the Early Years and Pre-School settings where staff are caring for children in the absence of their parents. Ofsted advises that, whilst general first aid certificates are appropriate for 12 to 16 year olds, they are not sufficient for those working with children and babies.
On completion of the course, delegates received the HSE, nationally-recognised Paediatric First Aid for Childcarers certificate which is valid for 3 years.
